Education

Fundamentally, all education is self-education.” Rudolf Steiner

I believe that no matter how experienced one is in interacting with and caring for people living with dementia, we are all students as there is always more to learn about ways to improve dignified and effective care to this population. It is also my belief that the best teachers are people living with dementia. They actually know what it means to live with this illness. We, professionals and researchers and even family care partners can only assume what it means to live with a serious brain disease.
